Disney Dreamlight Valley: Customize Your Home with Dream Styles
Disney Dreamlight Valley offers players a wide range of customization options for their homes, both inside and out. From rearranging foliage to adding flower beds and statues, players have near complete control over decorating the Valley.
When it comes to the interior, players can choose from over 1000 unique pieces of furniture, wallpapers, and flooring designs to personalize their house. The game’s Touch of Magic feature allows players to customize individual furniture pieces using Motifs, which can be unlocked through gameplay.
Players can also upgrade their house’s exterior appearance with Dream Styles. Dream Styles are available in 13 different options, including color schemes and complete overhauls of the house’s appearance. To apply a Dream Style, players must fully upgrade their house and purchase the desired style from the in-game Premium Item Shop using Moonstones, the game’s paid currency.
If players own multiple Dream Styles, they can place additional player houses in the Valley, each with its own separate interior that can be customized independently. However, the same Dream Style cannot be applied to two houses simultaneously.
How to Customize the Player’s House Exterior
To change the exterior color or apply a Dream Style to the player’s house, follow these steps:
- Exit the home and open the Furniture menu using the assigned hotkey (F if using a keyboard/mouse, or accessed via the Inventory menu on consoles).
- In Furniture mode, select the player house using the hand cursor.
- A “Replace” button will appear at the bottom right of the screen. Open the menu using the assigned hotkey.
- Select one of the available customizations, and the house’s exterior appearance will update.
Note that some Dream Styles may change the size of the house exterior, requiring players to rearrange nearby objects to accommodate the new style.

Here are the available Dream Styles for the player’s house:
- Gablefront House (default appearance with six color options)
- Beach House
- Mike and Sulley’s Apartment
- Nightmare Castle
- Palace
- Prince Eric’s Ship
- Purple Cottage
- Sweet House
Each Dream Style can be purchased from the in-game Premium Item Shop using Moonstones. The availability of Dream Styles in the shop changes every seven days, so players must seize the opportunity to purchase their desired styles when they are available.
