Disney Dreamlight Valley has captured the hearts of players worldwide with its exciting quests and challenges. Alongside the main story quests, the game also offers friendship quests for characters, some of which involve finding specific items and delivering them to beloved characters.

To begin the “Secrets and Schemes” quest for Merlin, players must first obtain Merlin’s notes. However, locating these notes can be quite challenging. Read on to discover where you can find Merlin’s notes in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where To Find Merlin’s Notes

Merlin’s notes are nothing more than a small piece of paper covered in the wizard’s frantic scribbles. Some fading words on the paper include:

Players can find Merlin’s notes in the Glade of Trust biome. However, this region is initially inaccessible and requires players to spend 5,000 Dreamlight to clear the blockage and open the pathway.

Once the pathway is open, venture into the Glade of Trust and search around Mother Gothel’s house. It is highly likely that the notes can be found there.

Look for the small paper emitting a golden light. The bright golden glow makes the notes difficult to miss. Once found, pick them up, return to Merlin, and hand him the required notes.

What To Do After Collecting Merlin’s Notes

After delivering the notes to Merlin, he reveals his suspicion that Ursula and Mother Gothel are plotting something together, as they have been meeting frequently throughout the village. He informs players that their next meeting is scheduled to take place in the Glade of Trust tomorrow and asks them to eavesdrop on their conversation to gather more information about their scheme. Players must then head to the Glade of Trust, listen in on the conversation between Ursula and Mother Gothel, and speak to Ursula, who will explain that Mother Gothel simply needed her assistance in dealing with pests in her home.

Finally, players must report their findings to Merlin, completing the “Secrets and Schemes” quest. As a reward for completing the quest, Merlin will grant players some Dreamlight.
