Customize Your Character and Valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley offers players the chance to customize their character and valley in a fun and magical way. Whether it’s decorating the valley or designing your character’s clothes, players can immerse themselves in the world of Disney as they help the villagers and manage the valley.

For those who like to lead in style, new clothes and furniture can be found throughout the biomes in chests, or at Scrooge McDuck’s store which updates daily with new inventory. But for players who want to change their look without breaking their budget, they can design clothes for custom looks in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Design Clothes in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley allows players to customize their character from eye shape to hair color. Dressing them up in a stellar outfit is important too, but the free options are limited. Players can use Star Coins at Scrooge’s store, but collecting them takes time. Luckily, there is an in-depth customization mode to create unique styles free of charge.

1. Open the inventory and find the “Wardrobe” menu. This takes players to their digital closet, and they can alter their appearance.
2. Select the light blue paintbrush next to the “All” category. This pulls up the custom clothes’ menu.
3. Click “Add New” to start designing. There are various clothing types, including t-shirts, headwear, dresses, and accessories. Next, choose the clothing that will be customized and select “Create.”
4. The default color is white when first selected, but players can change it using the “Color Picker.” Designs can be placed using layers. A custom piece can have a maximum of fifty layers with cute symbols or motifs. The motifs are divided into categories or can be viewed all at once.
5. Players can choose a motif and place it wherever they want on their custom clothing. They can then edit the size, mirror, or duplicate the motif. Some motifs can also change color, but it depends on the complexity of the design.
6. The designs consist of basic shapes or images of Disney characters. All custom clothes can be edited as many times as players want, and the layers can be switched around easily.
7. After confirming the design, players can wear the clothes or keep them in storage. They can also be deleted as needed.

Players can also design furniture pieces using a similar method. While in the inventory, select “Furniture” and then choose “Customize.” The furniture options depend on how many pieces players have crafted at a crafting station. Just like clothes, furniture can be decorated with motifs and colors.
