How to Complete “A Lesson in Frustration” in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Before embarking on “A Lesson in Frustration,” players must reach friendship level four with Merlin. Once this requirement is met, they are ready to proceed!

As the quest’s name suggests, Merlin is feeling quite frustrated and is in need of assistance. To uncover the cause of his frustration, players must engage in a conversation with him. During the conversation, it is revealed that Merlin has neglected a basic human need – food. He has been preoccupied with a new spell and hasn’t eaten for a long time. Therefore, to complete the quest, players must cook a two-star meal and bring it to Merlin.

Making a two-star meal is incredibly easy, as it only requires two ingredients. The number of stars in a recipe indicates the number of ingredients needed. Disney Dreamlight Valley offers a variety of two-star meals, including Fruit Sorbet, Fish Sandwich, and Vegetable Soup.

To make a Fish Sandwich, players will need the following ingredients:

• Fish (can be caught using a fishing rod)
• Wheat (available for purchase at Goofy’s Stall in Peaceful Meadow for one Star Coin)
